What We Do

What we’ve learnt over time is that our Little Performers learn best when they don’t even realise they are learning. We work tirelessly to ensure that each lesson explores the basics of every discipline within a fun-filled environment.

We look to explore different techniques within each of our sessions with the aim of putting on a polished performance or show at the end of term. When we teach, we help our students let go and give it their all in everything they do, so they can strive to reach their potential.

Our Inters work in a similar way to our Junior Performers, but we push them harder. Whether it’s working on group harmonies in our Singing Lessons or more technical dance routines, we aim to take each student the next of their learning.

With our Senior performers, unlike our younger classes, students experience an integrated approach where singing, acting and dance blend seemlessly, creating a more complete training. Beyond further developing their core abilities, we also prepare students with industry knowledge, audition techniques and wider insights to support their future in the Performing Arts.

Our Jazz technique classes are designed to build strong, versatile dancers at every level. Beginners focus on the foundations – posture, flexibility, strength and musicality. At Intermediate level, students progress into more complex combinations, leaps, turns and performance quality. Advanced classes push dancers to a professional standard, blending technical precision with dynamic choreography.

LAMDA lessons in acting and musical theatre give students the opportunity to develop their performance skills while working towards recognised qualifications. Through tailored teaching, students build their confidence, creativity and communication while working towards their pieces for their grade examinations. These lessons not only strengthen technical ability in voice, movement and characterisation, but also encourage self expression and resilience. 

Our Performance Troupes are on an invitation only basis for dedicated students are who ready to take their training to the next level. These sessions provide extra opportunities to perform at exciting external events, including West End experiences, while pushing students to develop their skills, professionalism and performance quality to a higher standard.

Our Holiday workshops are the perfect mix of fun, creativity and performance. Designed for people of any age who love to sing, dance and act, these workshops give students the chance to make new friends, build confidence and let their imaginations shine. Across the week, we work together to create exciting performances, giving every child the opportunity to learn new skills and experience the joy of being on stage.

Through weekly ensemble-based training, students learn to collaborate as a company while also honing their individual talents. They are guided by our excellent teachers who nurture each performer’s potential, creativity, discipline, and confidence. From vocal technique and choreography to character development and stage presence, our academy equips students with the tools they need to shine both on stage and in life. Whether they’re taking their first steps in musical theatre or building on existing experience, every young performer is given the opportunity to thrive in a safe and inspiring setting.

Through our musical theatre classes, we provide a platform for these individuals to discover their talents, build confidence, and be part of a supportive, inclusive community. THINKPERFORM’s mission is all about breaking down barriers and ensuring that every young adult, regardless of ability, has the chance to thrive. Together, we’re creating an environment where these performers can enjoy the same opportunities to develop their skills, build meaningful connections, and experience the joy of performing, just like anyone else.

Our HKPA Acting Company is designed for talented young people aged 11+ who are passionate about developing their craft and exploring contemporary performance. Members received advanced training in a range of acting techniques, working with diverse and exciting texts that connect theatre to the wider world. Alongside performing, students also gain valuable insight into creative production roles, such as stage management and design, helping them become well-rounded threats practitioners.
