There are some experiences that stay with you forever, and for our HKPA performers, our recent trip to Disneyland Paris will undoubtedly be one of them.
After months of preparation, rehearsals, and excitement, our students finally had the opportunity to represent HKPA on one of the most magical stages in the world. What followed was an incredible week filled with performances, learning opportunities, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
🎭 Performing Through the Magic
One of the highlights of the trip was taking part in the Disney Pre-Parade, performing through the park in front of thousands of guests from around the world.
For many of our students, this was their first opportunity to perform in such a unique setting. The atmosphere was electric as they showcased their talent, confidence, and hard work amongst the magic of Disneyland Paris.
Watching our performers proudly represent HKPA was a moment that none of us will forget.
🌟 Learning from the Best
As part of the experience, our students also had the incredible opportunity to participate in a workshop led by Disney performers.
This gave them a unique insight into the world of professional performance, allowing them to learn new techniques, gain valuable advice, and experience first-hand the dedication and passion required to perform at the highest level.
The workshop was not only educational but incredibly inspiring, giving our students an experience that will help shape their own performing arts journeys for years to come.
🎤 Shining on Stage
The week culminated in an unforgettable stage performance in front of a packed theatre audience.
With family members, friends, and fellow park guests cheering them on, our performers took to the stage with confidence, energy, and professionalism.
Every rehearsal, every practice session, and every moment of preparation led to this performance, and they absolutely rose to the occasion.
We could not have been prouder of the commitment, talent, and teamwork shown by every single performer.
🎢 More Than Just Performances
Of course, the trip wasn’t all about performing.
There were thrilling rides, character meet-and-greets, and countless moments of fun shared between friends. From experiencing some of Disneyland’s most iconic attractions to exploring the magic of the parks together, there was never a dull moment.
There were lots of laughs, plenty of excitement, and memories being made around every corner.
💛 Creating Memories That Last a Lifetime
While the performances were incredible, perhaps the most important part of the trip was the memories created along the way.
Performing arts is about so much more than what happens on stage. It’s about building confidence, developing friendships, creating opportunities, and experiencing moments that stay with you forever.
For our students, this trip provided all of those things and more.
The friendships strengthened, the challenges overcome, and the achievements celebrated will be remembered long after the final curtain call.
